Sebastien Michenaud is an assistant professor of Finance at the Jones School of Business. He is currently teaching the core finance class to the professional evening and week-end MBA students. Professor Michenaud has worked with Bankers Trust in London and Madrid in the M&A department (now Deutsche Bank), with Schneider Electric in Chicago in the corporate strategy department, and with Arkwright Ltd in Paris as a strategy consultant. Professor Michenaud's research is focused on corporate finance and behavioral finance. He is working primarily on the effects the stock market - through its organization (short-selling constraints) its participants (analysts, investors) or its outcomes (stock prices) - has on the firms' financial decisions such as corporate investment, financing, acquisitions, payout.. His research has appeared in the Journal of International Money and Finance.
